F. USAGE IN ASBESTOS CEMENT PRODUCT OF PVA HIGH STRENGTH & MODULUS

 

SHORTCOMING OF THE MAIN REINFORCE MATERIAL:

 

1.     ASBESTOS – harmful to health, polluting circumstances

o        acting as a reinforce material, asbestos has a small tenacity,easy to break.

o        with property of acid resistant but not alkali proof.

H. USAGE IN THE BUILDING CONCRETE OF PVA HIGH STRENGTH&MODULUS

1.     structure tortoise-crack in concrete

o        in the concrete industry, the reason of tortoise-crack is of the inner pressure surpassed it should beard tenacity. To strength the structure tenacity can reduce the pressure coming outside, but can’t be controlled effectively because of the inner pressure when shrinkage. In the period of molding, the tortoise-crack happened and formed within 24 hours because of inner dry shrinkage coming from the concrete.

 

2.     available method:

to mix the pva high-strength & modulus fiber as the main or next reinforce material can improve the building material’s anti-draw ability and toughness. It can increase the concrete’s ability of tension resistance, reducing water losing rate, improving the concrete material’s ability of anti-breaking, effectively controlling the tortoise crack.
